Tempering:

Instructions:

Prepare the Bhindi:

contents bullet arrow iconRinse the bhindi and pat dry thoroughly. Cut into 1-inch pieces. contents bullet arrow iconIn a pan, heat 1 tbsp oil. Add bhindi and sauté until they are slightly browned and half-cooked. Remove and set aside.

Cook the Masala:

Add cumin seeds and asafoetida. contents bullet arrow iconA once seeds crackle, add chopped onions and sauté until golden. contents bullet arrow iconA add ginger-garlic paste and green chilies, and fry for a minute. contents bullet arrow iconStir in the chopped tomatoes along with turmeric, coriander, cumin, and red chili powders. A cook until the tomatoes become soft and the oil separates.

Combine Bhindi with Masala:

contents bullet arrow iconAdd the sautéed bhindi to the masala. Mix gently, ensuring the bhindi is well-coated with the spices. contents bullet arrow iconCover and cook on low heat for about 10 minutes, or until the bhindi is fully cooked. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.

Final Touches:
