Beetroot Juice

Ingredients:
Beetroot - 2 medium-sized, peeled and chopped
Water - 1 cup (or more if needed to adjust consistency)
Lemon Juice - 1 tablespoon (for a tangy flavor)
Ginger - 1-inch piece, peeled (optional, for a bit of spice)
Apple - 1 medium (optional, for added sweetness and flavor)
Honey or Sugar - to taste (optional, depending on your preference)
Ice Cubes - as desired
Instructions:
Prepare the Ingredients:
Peel and chop the beetroot into small pieces. If using an apple and ginger, peel and chop those as well.
Juice:
Using a juicer, juice the beetroot (and apple and ginger if using). If you don’t have a juicer, you can blend the ingredients with water and then strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth.
Mix:
If you used a blender, you might need to adjust the consistency by adding more water. Add lemon juice, and sweeten with honey or sugar if desired.
Serve:
Pour the juice into glasses over ice cubes and enjoy!
