Ingredients:
Milk - 2 cups (preferably chilled)
Cashews (Kaju) - 10-12
Raisins (Kishmish) - 1-2 tbsp
Almonds - 6-8 (optional, for extra richness)
Dates - 2-3 (pitted, for natural sweetness)
Honey or Sugar - 1-2 tbsp (to taste)
Cardamom Powder - 1/4 tsp (optional, for flavor)
Saffron - A few strands (optional, for color and flavor)
Ice Cubes - Optional, for a chilled shake
Instructions:
Prepare the Dry Fruits:
Soak cashews, raisins, and almonds: Soak the cashews, raisins, and almonds (if using) in warm water for about 20-30 minutes to soften them.
Soak dates for the same time, which helps them blend more smoothly.
Blend the Dry Fruits:
After soaking, drain the water and add the cashews, raisins, almonds, and dates to a blender.
Blend the dry fruits with a small amount of milk until you get a smooth paste.
Add the Milk and Sweetener:
Add the remaining chilled milk to the blender with the dry fruit paste.
Sweeten with honey or sugar, adjusting the sweetness to your taste.
Add Flavoring:
Add cardamom powder and saffron strands for a touch of flavor and aroma (optional but recommended).
Blend Until Smooth:
Blend the mixture until it becomes creamy and smooth.
Add Ice Cubes (Optional):
If you'd like your milkshake extra chilled, add a few ice cubes and blend again until the ice is crushed.
Serve and Garnish:
Pour the kaju kishmish milkshake into glasses.
Garnish with finely chopped cashews or almonds and a few raisins or saffron strands on top.
Tips:
You can substitute dates with more raisins or a few figs for a variation in sweetness.
Adjust the consistency by adding more or less milk, based on how thick you like your milkshake.
Enjoy your delicious and healthy Kaju Kishmish Dry Fruit Milkshake!
