Ingredients:
Milk - 2 cups (preferably chilled)
Almonds - 8-10
Cashews - 8-10
Pistachios - 8-10
Walnuts - 4-5 halves
Raisins - 1 tbsp
Dates - 3-4 (pitted)
Figs - 2-3 (dried)
Honey or Sugar - 1-2 tbsp (to taste)
Cardamom Powder - 1/4 tsp (optional, for flavor)
Saffron - A few strands (optional, for color and flavor)
Ice Cubes - Optional, for a chilled shake
Instructions:
Prepare the Dry Fruits:
Soak the dry fruits: Soak almonds, cashews, pistachios, raisins, dates, and dried figs in warm water for about 20-30 minutes. This will soften them and make them easier to blend.
After soaking, peel the skin off the almonds.
Blend the Dry Fruits:
Drain the soaked dry fruits and add them to a blender.
Blend them into a smooth paste using a small amount of milk to help the blending process.
Add the Milk and Sweetener:
Once the dry fruits are smoothly blended, add the remaining chilled milk to the blender.
Add honey or sugar to taste. You can adjust the sweetness as per your preference.
Add Flavoring:
If you like, add cardamom powder and saffron strands to the mixture for added flavor and aroma.
Blend Until Smooth:
Blend everything together for about 1-2 minutes until you have a creamy, smooth milkshake.
Add Ice Cubes (Optional):
If you want the milkshake extra chilled, add a few ice cubes and blend again.
7. Serve and Garnish:
Pour the dry fruit milkshake into glasses.
Garnish with chopped nuts, a sprinkle of cardamom powder, or saffron strands on top.
