Ingredients:
Milk - 2 cups (preferably chilled)
Almonds (Badam) - 10-12
Figs (Anjeer) - 4-5 (dried)
Cashews - 6-8
Pistachios - 6-8
Dates - 3-4 (pitted)
Raisins - 1 tbsp
Honey or Sugar - 1-2 tbsp (to taste)
Cardamom Powder - 1/4 tsp (optional)
Saffron - A few strands (optional)
Ice Cubes - Optional, for a chilled shake
Instructions:
Prepare the Dry Fruits:
Soak almonds and figs: Soak the almonds and dried figs in warm water for about 20-30 minutes. This will help soften them, making them easier to blend.
Soak other dry fruits (optional): You can also soak cashews, pistachios, dates, and raisins for a creamier texture. Soak them for the same duration.
After soaking, peel the skin off the almonds.
Blend the Dry Fruits:
Add the soaked almonds, figs, and other dry fruits (cashews, pistachios, dates, raisins) to a blender.
Blend them with a little milk until they form a smooth paste.
Add the Milk and Sweetener:
Pour the remaining chilled milk into the blender with the dry fruit paste.
Add honey or sugar to taste, adjusting the sweetness according to preference.
Add Flavoring:
Add cardamom powder and saffron strands for additional aroma and richness.
Blend Everything:
Blend everything together for about 1-2 minutes until you get a creamy, smooth, and thick milkshake.
Add Ice Cubes (Optional):
If desired, add a few ice cubes to the blender for an extra chilled shake, and blend again.
Serve and Garnish:
Pour the milkshake into serving glasses.
Garnish with finely chopped almonds, pistachios, and a few saffron strands or a sprinkle of cardamom powder.
Tips:
For extra creaminess, you can add a small scoop of vanilla ice cream.
Adjust the thickness of the milkshake by adding more or less milk, based on preference.
Enjoy your rich and flavorful Badam Anjeer Mixed Dry Fruit Milkshake!
