Dry Fruit Lassi

Ingredients:
1 cup plain yogurt
1/2 cup milk
2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (adjust to taste)
1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
1/4 teaspoon saffron strands (optional, soaked in 1 tablespoon warm milk)
1/2 cup mixed dry fruits (such as almonds, cashews, pistachios, and raisins), finely chopped
1/2 teaspoon rose water (optional)
A few ices cubes
Fresh mint leaves or additional chopped dry fruits for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
Prepare Dry Fruits: Finely chop the mixed dry fruits. If you prefer a more textured lassi, you can leave some pieces slightly larger.
Blend the Base: In a blender, combine the plain yogurt, milk, honey (or maple syrup), ground cardamom, and saffron (if using). Blend until smooth and well-mixed.
Incorporate Dry Fruits: Add the finely chopped dry fruits to the blender. Pulse a few times to incorporate them into the lassi mixture. If you prefer the dry fruits to be well-blended, you can blend them with the mixture, but be careful not to over-blend if you want some texture.
Add Rose Water: Stir in the rose water if using. It adds a subtle floral note to the lassi.
Adjust Consistency: Add a few ice cubes and blend again briefly to chill the lassi and adjust the consistency. If it's too thick, add a bit more milk.
Serve: Pour the lassi into glasses. Garnish with additional chopped dry fruits or fresh mint leaves if desired.
